Agreement to Terms
By accessing kjcresources.com or using lawn care services from KC Lawn Pro (KJC Resources DBA) (“KC Lawn Pro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
About KC Lawn Pro
KC Lawn Pro is a veteran-owned lawn care business operated by Kevin Connolly, doing business as KJC Resources DBA. We provide residential and commercial lawn care services in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and the greater Hampton Roads area.
Services
Our services may include, but are not limited to:
- Lawn mowing and maintenance
- Hedge and shrub trimming
- Edging and bed definition
- Leaf and yard cleanups
- Fertilization
- Debris removal
Specific services, frequency, and scope are defined in your written or verbal service agreement or estimate. One-time jobs and seasonal contracts are both available.
Estimates and Quotes
Free estimates provided through our website, phone, or in person are non-binding until a service agreement is confirmed by both parties. Estimates are based on information you provide and our assessment of your property. Final pricing may change if actual conditions differ materially from what was described or observed.
Scheduling and Access
By scheduling service, you agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas
- Keep pets secured and notify us of any hazards, irrigation systems, underground utilities, or sensitive areas
- Ensure gates are unlocked or provide access instructions on scheduled service days
- Notify us of any changes to property conditions that may affect service
We reserve the right to reschedule service due to weather, equipment issues, or safety concerns. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of schedule changes.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be communicated at the time of service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed:
- One-time services are due upon completion unless other arrangements are made in advance
- Seasonal or recurring services may be billed per visit, weekly, or monthly as agreed
- Late payments may result in suspension of services
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at scheduling.
Cancellation and Refunds
Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. For recurring service contracts, either party may cancel with reasonable written or verbal notice as defined in your service agreement. Refunds, if applicable, are handled on a case-by-case basis for services not yet performed.
Property Damage and Liability
KC Lawn Pro takes care to protect your property while performing services. However:
- We are not responsible for damage to unmarked or hidden items such as invisible fencing, irrigation heads, buried cables, or decorative objects not disclosed before service
- We are not liable for pre-existing lawn conditions, pest damage, disease, or results beyond normal professional lawn maintenance
- Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, to the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law
Please inform us of any property concerns before service begins.
Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Submit false or misleading information through our contact forms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or disrupt the website
- Reproduce website content without permission
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, logos, images, and design — is owned by KC Lawn Pro or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written consent.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website and services are provided “as is.” While we strive for excellent results, lawn health depends on many factors including weather, soil, drainage, and homeowner maintenance. We do not guarantee specific aesthetic outcomes beyond professional application of agreed services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KC Lawn Pro, Kevin Connolly, and KJC Resources DBA from claims arising from your misuse of the website, inaccurate information you provide, or failure to disclose property hazards.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia in the jurisdiction where KC Lawn Pro operates.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
